A Hundred Bucks or Less is run by three friends with one rule: nothing over $100. The internet is full of "must-have" products. Most of them are not. Our job is to find the ones that actually earn a spot in your cart, and to be upfront about how we do it.
How a product makes the list
- It has to cost $100 or less. That is the whole brand. If the price climbs past $100, it comes off the site.
- It has to solve a real problem. Pet hair on the couch, cables on the floor, gnats in the kitchen. If we cannot explain what it fixes in one sentence, it does not make the cut.
- Real people have to like it. We look for products with a large number of customer ratings and a strong average, and we read the negative reviews to see what actually goes wrong.
- We check the buzz against the details. A lot of our finds show up on TikTok, Instagram, and Amazon's best-seller and Movers & Shakers lists first. We dig into the listing, the brand's own product information, and the fine print before anything gets featured.
- It comes from a real retailer. Every "Buy" button takes you straight to the original retailer, like Amazon, at their listed price. We do not mark anything up.
What our reviews are (and are not)
Our write-ups combine research, product specs, and what verified buyers consistently report. When a claim comes from the brand, such as a lab result or a percentage, we say so. We call out the limits of a product, not just the highlights, so you can decide if it fits your life.
Prices and availability change fast at retailers. Always check the current price and details on the retailer's site before you buy.
How we make money
We are reader-supported. When you buy through our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Commissions help keep the site running, but they never decide what makes the list. Read our full Affiliate Disclosure.
