2. Zevo Plug-In Flying Insect Trap: best for fruit flies and gnats
The Zevo trap plugs into an outlet near the trash or fruit bowl and uses blue and UV light to draw flying bugs onto a hidden sticky cartridge. No sprays, no zapping sound, and a shield that keeps the catch out of view. The kit comes with two plug-ins and two refills.

3. Owala FreeSip Insulated Water Bottle: best for actually drinking more water
Kitchens are where water bottles go to get refilled, and the Owala FreeSip makes it worth doing. One lid lets you sip upright through the built-in straw or tilt it back and swig. It is insulated, has a push-button lid, and a carry loop that doubles as a lock. Heads up: the 24 oz size is wider than a lot of car cupholders.
